The Columbia Association is excited to announce and introduce Pickleball League play for both CA members and non-members for 7 weeks at the Owen Brown Tennis Club starting Monday, September 13, 2021, through October 25, 2021, from 7-9 pm.
Each week, players will play four 15-point doubles games in a round-robin format. Players will be placed in foursomes of similar skill levels based on their ladder ranking. You will move up or down the ladder based on your total points. This system allows players of all skill levels to play in this league.
At the end of each game, please enter your scores on the provided score sheet located at a designated area at the club. Once written, you will be responsible for totaling your four scores and initialing next to your total. Balls will be provided during the ladder league play. We also have paddles available for your to use if needed. If you are unable to attend your regularly scheduled play, please find a substitute for that evening and notify your group of your situation. If your four games end before 9 pm, you can continue playing, however, those games don't count in the ladder totals.
Maximum of 24 people. The cost for the 7 weeks is $70 (CA Fit&Play, Play, 5Day Golf&Play, and Golf Fit&Play members); $80 (Other CA Members); $90 (Columbia Cardholders); $100 (Non-Members).
