Fall Drop-In Play will be at Owen Brown until Owen Brown closes for the winter.  We will inform you as to when the winter closure of Owen Brown occurs.

Drop-in Play will be Tuesdays and Saturdays at 10:00am at Owen Brown until further notice.

Below is a copy of an email from Earl that was sent out on Friday, November 30:

Our association is looking into using small school gyms (the ones rejected by basketball teams) to play PB during the week.  At this time, there are only a few gyms available and we will only be able to setup one court per school.  We are looking at two schools for both Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 9pm.  We intend to limit the number by setting up a doodle sign-up sheet each week. We are debating how many to limit it to.
However, in order to arrange this we need volunteers to take a school/night to perform the setup (tape lines and put up net), manage the session and coordinate the take down.  We are attempting to assign two people per school/night so that if one person is unavailable, we can cover with the other.
The good thing will be the volunteers will be the first two on the play list for that night.
I'm reaching out to you in addition to our board members and other volunteers based on my familiarity with you on the court.  Please consider volunteering so that we can offer our association membership an alternative for indoor pickleball.
The following is a doodle that I setup for volunteer sign-up.  If I can get enough people to sign-up I can then make the reservations and send out the announcements.  Use the comments section if you have periods you will be unavailable.
I hope you will consider helping out and playing PB during the weekday.
BTW...we are also planning to do HCC on Sunday afternoons like last year and I will be sending that notice out later this month as well.
Thanks, Rob
Hello Pickleballers,

Check-in Time:  9:00
Start Time:  9:30
Mixed Doubles
Check-in Time:  10:30 am
Start Time:  11:00 am

Good luck to all tournament participants - play well and have fun!
Thank you, Joe Beitz, for organizing the good times - again!

Good Morning Members,

Due to the rain and conditions, we're going to wait an extra hour at Locust Park to see if the rain clears up and to give us time to squeegee off the courts.  Play at the Ice Rink will remain the same.  Barry, I can help squeegee over at the Ice Rink.  We'll update through the website scroll bar if anything changes and we won't be able to play.

Thanks, Rob

Good Morning,

PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU INTEND TO PLAY ON THURSDAY MORNINGS.  LAST THURSDAY ONLY TWO PEOPLE SHOWED UP.  SO, TO BE FAIR TO THE PERSON SETTING UP, WE'D LIKE TO HAVE AN IDEA.

Nets for drop-in play will be set up on the following days and in these locations:

Tuesday 10/30/18:   Ice Rink Courts - 9am

Thursday 11/1/18: Ice Rink Courts - 9am

Saturday 11/3/18:  Ice Rink Courts - 9am  AND  Locust Park Pool Courts - 8am

Thank you, Rob

Good Morning,

We need a volunteer to set up nets on Saturdays at the Ice Rink Courts.  If somebody who plays there on Thursdays can volunteer and get the nets from Don (who will still be setting up on Tuesdays and Thursdays), then we can arrange to get them back from you after play on Saturday or before the following Tuesday.

Nets for drop-in play will be set up on the following days and in these locations:

Tuesday 10/23/18:   Ice Rink Courts - 9am

Thursday 10/25/18: Ice Rink Courts - 9am

Saturday 10/27/18:  Ice Rink Courts (if new volunteer can set up) - 9am  AND  Locust Park Pool Courts - 8am

Thank you, Rob
