HCPA – Saturday Morning Play 1/18/2020

Here is the sign-up doodle for next Saturday's indoor PB at Lake Elkhorn Middle School.  We plan to have 5 courts, 3 in the gym and 2 in cafeteria's across the hall from the gym door.  We are limiting the sign-up for this to 28 along with two volunteers for a total of 30 players.  We will be setting up at 9 am once we are allowed entry to the school (use the double doors towards the back on the south side facing the side parking lot & the East Columbia Library.

If we have at least 22 people both signed up and paid by Wed. 1/15/2020 at 8 am we will be able to move forward to play that day (weather permitting).  However, if we do not get enough people to register and pay, we will be canceling that day and will refund all members who paid.

Saturday AM Indoor PB Sign-up 1/18/2020

If you register and pay and then find you are unable to attend, please find a substitute who can pay you the fee if you so desire.

HCPA News Update 9/30/2019 Drop in play 9/30-10/5

Reminder, Owen Brown is not available for drop in play this week. Nets will be set up at the following locations this week (9/30- 10/5)

  • Tuesday and Saturday at 9 am the Ice Rink
  • Tuesday and Thursday at 5:00 pm at Locust Park
  • Saturday at 9 am at Locust Park

 

 Barry Leech will also be doing the usual new player sessions on the following schedule:

  • Tuesday evening at Thunderhill for new players
  • Friday morning at the Ice Rink for new players
  • Saturday morning at the Ice Rink for new players

Gents-

 I hope all of you are doing well. I know each of you have some distribution groups for the Pickleball community, and I wanted to provide an update on Owen Brown and the use of the facility for next week (Sept 29 - Oct 6).
 There will be some ongoing construction for the light project, and while we don't know exact times or days, if you could please let your respective groups know that there will be no play at the facility during this time (this includes the Pickleball courts and adjoining tennis courts).
 Thanks for your patience and fingers crossed that the light project is completed very shortly.
