Weekday afternoon drop-in sessions - Due to the end of daylight savings time on Nov. 3rd and Halloween on Thursday, next week will be the final week for organized play sessions in the afternoons for the association.  Tuesday afternoon will be the last drop-in session at Locust Park and Wed. afternoon will be the last drop-in session at the Ice Rink.
Weekday morning drop-in session on Tuesdays - These drop-in sessions will continue till the weather turns too bad.  Start time will depend on the weather.  If you are available to assist as a volunteer to bring nets, setup and take down, please contact Earl (sneeringere@gmail.com).
Saturday morning drop-in sessions - will continue at the three locations but the times will be set based on the temperatures we have.  Notification of any time changes will go out via email and will be posted to the home page news banner.
Association tournament on Nov. 9th - We have closed the registration for the individual based tournament planned for Sat. Nov. 9th.  The location still remains open as we are waiting to hear if OBTC would be available.  There will be no Saturday drop-in sessions at Locust Park or Vantage Park that day but we will be setting up nets at the Ice Rink.  Joe and Steve are still looking for volunteers to assist with managing these events, please let them know if you would be available.
Indoor PB venues for winter -  We are seeking volunteers to setup and take down the school cafeterias for weekday evening indoor sessions.  At present we are considering Folly Quarter Middle School (for which we have identified volunteers), Burleigh Manor Middle School and Bryant Woods Elementary School.  We are also looking at the Lake Elkhorn & Cradlerock cafeterias if they become available and are searching for any other schools that could be used.  If you are aware of any schools that have a large cafeteria, please submit the name to me via email (see above).  Please use the following doodle to identify if your willing to volunteer and what nights would be good for you.  Once the schools are identified, we can work out who covers what schools.  We will likely only have one net per school cafeteria and will limit the number of people to 8 to sign-up for the night.  Each volunteer will automatically be playing at that location and will be the 9th and 10th player(s).
Assoc. Newsletter - A big thank-you to Joanne Griesser for publishing our newsletter.  If you have any feedback on the newsletter, please send it to me and I will forward it on.  We are collecting articles for our Winter news letter so feel free to contribute.
