Drop-In Play Tue 8/21/18, Thu 8/23/18*, Sat 8/25/18

Good Morning Pickleballers,

Nets for drop-in play will be set up on the following days and in these locations:

Tuesday 8/21/18:   Ice Rink Courts - 9am  AND  Locust Park Pool Courts - 8am

Thursday 8/23/18:   Ice Rink Courts - 9am  {*AND POSSIBLY Locust Park Pool Courts - 8am
if someone is able to volunteer to set up}

Saturday 8/25/18:     Ice Rink Courts - 9am  AND  Locust Park Pool Courts - 8am

*NOTE:  WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO SET UP NETS  BEGINNING THURSDAY 8/23/18, in order for drop-in play to continue at Locust Park Pool Courts on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.  I am going back to work on Thursday 8/23 and will not be available to set up during the week any longer.

Please email me if you are able to volunteer so we can get the equipment to you.

Dear HCPA members,

Thanks to Kathy and Don again for volunteering to set up the nets for drop in play this Saturday 8/11/18 at the Ice Rink courts.

And thanks to Cheryl and Bob for offering to do it.

So, drop in play will now be on Thursday 8/9/18 and Saturday 8/11/18 at the Ice Rink courts (9am) and at Locust Park (8am)

We truly appreciate everyone's efforts to help.

Drop in Play for Thursday 8/9/18 & Saturday 8/11/18

Good Day,

Thank you Don and Kathy for volunteering to set up nets on Tuesday for Drop-in play at the Ice Rink at Oakland Mills.

Thank you Jan for volunteering to set up nets for Drop-in play this Thursday at the Ice Rink at Oakland Mills @ 9:00 am.  Please show up at 8:30 to assist Jan if you are able.  As you may know, there is a lot of heavy equipment to carry.

Thank you Veronica for volunteering to set up nets for Drop-in play this Thursday and Saturday at Locust Park @ 8:00 am.  Please show up at 7:30 to assist Veronica if you are able.  As you may know, the courts are a longer distance from the parking lot and there is a lot of heavy equipment to carry.

NOTE:  We are looking for a volunteer/s to set up nets for Drop-in play this Saturday at the Ice Rink at Oakland Mills @ 9:00 am.  If you are able to do this, please call, text or email me to coordinate.  The volunteer/s would also be responsible for taking down the nets and keeping them until I can get them from you on Monday before play next Tuesday.  If you are able to volunteer and are also playing on Thursday at the Ice Rink, then please take the equipment from Jan after play is finished.

Hello,

I'm going to the Ice Rink early tomorrow morning to squeegee and try to dry off the courts as much as possible.  I think we can stick to the 9am start time if tonight's weather isn't too wet (although it is raining in Columbia) as I'm writing this).  Hopefully my squeegee is still at the Atholton courts - I intend to 'swipe' it and bring it to the Ice Rink.  If anyone has another squeegee or a broom or anything that could help speed up the drying process, please join me early or bring the tools with you when you arrive.
