HCPA Thanksgiving Tournament Update - The tournament for this Saturday is full and we are expecting some competitive pickleball action (as most should have recovered from their Thanksgiving food comas).  Even if you can't make the event, please consider donating to Grassroots (see below) to help support our charity fundraiser. Any amount helps this worthy cause that is based here in Howard County.

A link will be available to track scoring at the event, and fingers crossed, maybe we will be able to Livestream one of the courts.  Check your emails and/or the member's discussion page on the Howard County Pickleball Association website for the links on Saturday.

Thanks again to all that have signed up to play and those who are volunteers. With the help of current Court Sponsors, nearly 100% raised through player fees will go to Grassroots from this tournament.

Donations to Grassroots:  With the holiday season coming, Grassroots is welcoming $25 and $50 gift cards to Target and Walmart.  Due to COVID, they cannot take holiday gifts.  However, they are able to receive personal hygiene products such as Shampoo, Soap, Body Wash, Body Lotion, Deodorant, and Toothpaste.  If you are headed to Costco, BJ's or any other store, please consider picking up some hygiene products to donate.  We will be collecting items at Forty West on the day of the tournament.

I look forward to seeing 64 of you on the court this weekend.

Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

Ken
